We are so happy and relieved that restrictions are to be lifted from Monday 19th July, and that our lovely brides can have the wedding day of their dreams.
However, as a small business, we have thought long and hard about how to continue to work safely. Our priority is to keep ourselves and our lovely customers safe and well. This is our busiest time of the year, and we will not put ourselves, our families and our brides at risk, especially when some have waited so long for their special day.
We, like most, hate the mask wearing, no hugging, keeping socially distant etc., but we have to consider the industry that we are in. If we got Covid or had to isolate, there would be huge implications for our brides.
Therefore we will continue to wear masks and use hand sanitiser and would also respectfully ask our brides and their guests to do the same. Appointments will be limited to the bride and two guests. The boutique will be cleaned in between appointments.
With the huge rise in cases in Sunderland, we ask that children under the age of 16 do not attend appointments.
Our toilets will remain closed, and we are unable to serve refreshments.
We hope that our customers understand the need for these measures to help keep us all safe.
